Canestrelli Bi.Biel

[Español] // [English]

¿A qué esperáis a probarlas?

Good morning, family! Today I’m inaugurating the section we released yesterday: “B’s Basics”.

The first product I want to introduce to you is “Canestrelli Bi. Biel”, a chocolate-filled waffle biscuit that will make you want to lick your fingers. I tried them for the first time about 5 years ago, when my mother brought them from a trip to Milan. She gave us a whole box of them and two days later there were not even crumbs left. As they came from abroad, I could not buy them again until much later and you cannot imagine just how much I missed them during that time.

Fortunately, I found a way to buy them a couple of years ago. It’s a web called Italian Food Shop that sells products from Italy on-line. If like me you are internet buyers, I encourage you to take a look at it, they have the most delicious treats!

The Canestrelli in particular are to-die-for. I promise I’ve never tasted such a rich biscuit. Two super light and crispy chocolate waffles, which melt in your mouth, embracing a chocolate ganache filling. A-ma-zing. The chocolate flavour is just incredible. Super intense. It’s made from high-quality cocoa, the one that invades your mouth and awakens your tastebuds. There’s nothing I hate more than those sweet chocolates they sell all around that only taste like sugar, which is why I absolutely love this biscuits.

At home I make on-line orders in a regular basis. Clothing, electronic gadgets, books, etc. I think one of the great advantages that the 21st century offers us is to be able to buy stuff on-line. We are just a click away from products that we would undoubtedly wouldn’t have had the opportunity to try in the past.

The truth is that with food I had not taken that step yet. I was afraid to buy it on-line because I had doubts about the state in which it would arrive. But since I discovered this website I have embarked myself into this world and now no one can stop me. You cannot imagine the amount of delicious products you can find on the net. These biscuits are just a clear example of this.

So, what are you waiting for to test them?
